2014 Cosplay Plans

Before I begin, I like to thank all the people who faved and commented positively on my Punished Snake and Naked Snake cosplays. Really meant a lot to me! You guys are awesome! 
2014 has approached us! What shall it bring me cosplay wise? A lot of plans. Well... That's a lie, I only got 2 new cosplays plans so far. One of them is another Metal Gear cosplay, one I've been planning to make since 2010, the Militaries San Frontiers Sneaking Suit. Now that I've found the perfect plan out and good references, I can finally make it. I'm planning to get it ready in time for May's MCM London Comic Con to help Konami UK promote Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Defo looking forward to it!
2nd cosplay plan, well, it's trying to complete my Ex-Keine Kamishirasawa crossplay in time for the Touhou panel at Kitacon in March. Having trouble with the dress though, the one I was currently watching on eBay keeps on vanishing. Hopefully I can get one in time before end of February. If not, then I'll just have to re-wear Yuyuko again~.
Other cosplay plans will just be re-wears, I simply don't have the funding for other new cosplays if I need to afford to attend these events and places to stay at them. Plus I got a bunch of cosplays that need to be re-worn one last time, or it's just money wasting away.

New Metal Gear Cosplay!

Haven't done one of these in a while~ Probably will when I introduce a new Metal Gear cosplay or event coming up where I'm attending in said cosplay.
A bit like now!
Recently, I've marked myself a cosplay goal. That goal is to cosplay at least a Snake from every Metal Gear title in at least 1 attire. The amount of time and money that is gonna be put towards reaching this goal is gonna be painful, but it will happen!
First on the list will be Punished Snake from Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I'm half way from completing it. Just awaiting my prosthetic arm that :dev~TheCyanideFactory: have made for me (check his page and check it out!) and waiting upon my shrapnel horn that KittiofDOOM said she'll do for me. I'm also waiting for my assault rifle which I ordered to arrive too. Rest of the gear I already got.

If all works out well, Punished Snake will make it's debute at Ayacon '13, along with my re-vamp of Naked Snake since I'm a part of a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater group that's happening on the Sunday of the event, I will be also re-wearing Punished Snake at Eurogamer Expo '13 in September, I'll be hanging around mostly the Konami UK panels so if you see me, drop by for a hi and a chat, or maybe a photo or two! I won't be there all day though, need to infiltrate other panel, and also the regularly trips to the toilet! As for MCM London Expo in October, I might re-wear Punished Snake there, I shall see on my mood.
I shall try my best to update my DA with more cosplay photos, I'm just lacking really good ones worthy of putting on here at the moment. Hopefully all that will be changed soon.

Current Update and 2013 Plans

Heya all~ Just a little update about what I am up to lately and what I am planning in future.
Recently I've been down in the dumps lately... Mainly because me and Charlotte-Chan have ended our long term relationship being together. I won't go into detail about it, all I can say is that she gave me one hell of a adventure and I will miss making more with her. We're are still very close friends and won't loose connection which is the good part. So I'm happy with that.
Apart from that depressing news, my cosplay life is slightly more bright than my personal one. I've started my temptation of crossplaying (cosplay a character of the opposite gender) and I started it off by doing a character from Touhou. Originally my first crossplay plan was suppose to be Keine Kamishirasawa in her Hakutaku form but the seller I was going to buy the cosplay from suddenly disappeared on eBay and no where else is selling it under £80. So she's been put on the planned list and went for Plan B. which is crossplaying Yuyuko Saigyouji. I will debut Yuyuko at this October's London MCM EXPO and will probably re-wear her at Hyper Japan Christmas 2012.
For this website. Ok, I know I said that I will post more photos of my cosplay up on here, but I'm seem to be finding it hard getting any good ones recently. But I promise you all, there will be loads soon to come. Same goes for my Cosplay Island account. That seems to be lacking photos too.
For the event plans for the last few months of 2012, I am attending London MCM Expo and Hyper Japan Christmas 2012.
As for 2013, Many have asked me to attend Telford MCM Expo in February. I might go, depends on how I feel around then. I mean, it is a one day only event but it might good to experience something new. Although I've been told it's basically like London MCM Expo just in a different location and runs for 1 day. So I may give a think about that.
Due to no Kitacon this year, our April con will be Gemu Con. A convention dedicated to video games only. I shall be going along with 5 friends. We will be planning to cosplay Metal Gear Solid, since 2013 will make the original PS1 game's 15th anniversary. I shall be cosplaying Solid Snake. We're also planning to cosplay from Blazblue as well so I'll be re-wearing my Hazama cosplay.
I also going to try and attend AyaCon. It may not be as big as what AmeCon is but it's another great convention that I want to attend and experience another new convention.
Another convention I want to attend in 2013 is JapanExpo. Although it is in France that's not going to stop me. I'm going to try my best to save up and attend that.
Defo attendings are LFCC, all the Hyper Japans and Eurogamer Expo. As for London MCM Expos in 2013. I am not entirely sure... As it gets more pricier and pricier by the years. If it gets too expensive, I may only attend them for 1 day only. As I only go to them to see friends.
As for the rest of 2013. Well... That's a mystery. Just have to wait and see what the future throws at me.

2012 Plans

Righty-O, very busy, busy these next following months to come. So many events, so little time. Here are my plans so far that I've planned so far.
The first con/event I went to this year was Hyper Japan 2012. So far, it's my favourite event. Mainly because of NicoNico.com being there. It was a major good laugh and massive fun. It was also good seeing most my friends again who I haven't seen in soooo long. I went cosplayed as Shizuo from Durarara!!, many people recognised who I was (which is a good sign) and I also got in a (play) fight with a Izaya cosplayer. Was great fun. Much better than the last 2 combined!
Now my plans.
I shall be attending Kitacon 4 this April! This will mark my very first official con so I'm quite excited about it. I shall be going with Charlotte-Chan and it's going to be one of the best weekends we're going to have in a long, long time. Of course, we will be cosplaying. However, I'm in a sort problem with one of my cosplays which is Okabe from Steins;Gate and that is trying to afford all the stuff. You see, Mother's Day is coming up, as well as mine and Charlotte's anniversary and my older brother's birthday so I need to get each one of them a present, the problem with me is I like to get people really nice and somewhat expensive presents, ones that they will enjoy. I don't like getting people crap presents as well... they're crap lol. So ya, I have no idea if I'll be able to pull of Okabe in time for Kitacon... If I can't then I'll save cosplaying him for London MCM EXPO which is a month later.
Because of my problems with Okabe, my Kitacon cosplays are undecided yet again! However, I promised the Touhou guys I will bring along my Rinnosuke cosplay so I guess that's one of them announced. Problem is I've haven't got any white boots for that cosplay... Which comes back my problem of being broke.
If above never gave it away for you, it looks like I will be attending London MCM EXPO in May. As much as I really find Expo boring as hell and finding watching paint dry more entertaining, (plus being a rip off for what they're giving out) I'm mainly going to see and hang around friends and to mess about in cosplay and be the posing geeks that we all are. My cosplay plans for this MAY BE Okabe (if I don't pull him off for Kita) but one officially announced for Expo will be Twelfth from Mirai Nikki. Oh what massive fun cosplaying him would be. I seriously can't wait to do that lol. Other cosplays are unannounced so far. I seriously cannot make my mind up at times.
As for other events e.g. Kapow!, LFCC, Collecormania, Japan Expo, Amecon etc. I am not sure. It really depends on money... So we'll have to see in future.
Also my birthday is coming up soon this month. Haven't decided what to do to celebrate it thou. Ok.. Yes I admit. I suck when it comes to planning things...

Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

It has drawn to us yet again! (and too fast imo...) but any ways, Merry Christmas to all my friends and watchers on this account and my old one which I will be deactivating next year.
I don't have any fantastic x-mas plans this year, I'll be staying at home with my family and enjoy myself over the festive fun-ness and getting fat. I won't be online all day on x-mas day as well. I haven't decided if I will be on Boxing Day, but who knows.
